Using the Inspector to explore model elements

The Inspector is a side panel that lets you drill into the analysed model without leaving the page you are on. Open it with Inspect in the toolbar (it starts at the current scope), with View or Open item on a finding, or with the Inspect buttons that appear on occurrences and components.

Moving around

• The header shows the current element with its type badge and, where relevant, the number of findings on it.
• The list below shows the element's children with a type badge (module, folder, microflow, entity, module role, …). Click a child with an arrow › to descend into it.
• Click ↑ Up to go to the parent element.
• Navigate to item selects the element in the model tree and scopes the current page to it.
• Full screen enlarges the Inspector; × closes it.

Diagram and Source

For flows (microflows, nanoflows, workflows) the Inspector shows a Diagram: drag to pan, scroll to zoom, or use the + / − / fit buttons. Switch to Source to read the underlying model definition of each activity.

Properties and findings

• Properties lists the element's name, stereotype and other characteristics, such as the number of steps and transitions in a flow.
• Findings on this element lists the findings that were detected on the element itself, with their priority. The counter in the header shows the total.
