Manage › Excluded modules: exclude modules from analysis

Leave modules you do not control – or do not want measured – out of the analysis results.

Manage › Excluded modules lets you exclude modules and objects from the analysis so they no longer count towards findings and ratings. Exclusions take effect on the next analysis run; the module stays visible in the model tree but is not processed.

Excluding modules

  1. Under Exclude objects, choose the Type, for example appstore module · MendixMpr (Marketplace modules) or module · MendixMpr (your own modules).
  2. Click Search current scan. The modules of that type in the current analysis are listed with their full path.
  3. Tick the modules you want to exclude.
  4. Enter a Justification explaining why they are excluded.
  5. Click Exclude selected (n).

For Mendix applications, Java findings that belong to an excluded module are excluded as well.

Currently excluded

The grid lists every exclusion with Object, Type, Justification, Excluded by and When. Use Search… to find an entry and CSV to export the list. Remove an exclusion to include the module again from the next analysis.
