Landscape › Explore: connect your AI assistant with the Omnext MCP server

Query your analysis data in plain language from Claude or any other MCP-compatible assistant.

The tabs in the portal are curated starting points. With the Omnext MCP server you can connect your own AI assistant directly to your analysis data and go wherever your work takes you.

What you can do

  • Ask in plain language – query ratings, rules, findings and metrics across every application by describing what you want to know.
  • Build your own views – pull exactly the data you need into your own dashboards, spreadsheets or documents.
  • Automate the routine – wire quality gates and recurring checks into your own tools and pipelines.
  • Works with your assistant – connect from Claude or any other MCP-compatible AI assistant you already use.

The MCP server uses the same data and respects the same access rights as the portal: you only see the applications you are authorised for.

Getting started

  1. Open Landscape › Explore.
  2. Click Read the setup guide and follow the steps for your assistant. You will need your personal API key, which you can generate under Settings › API access.

Example questions

  • Which applications dropped in maintainability since their previous analysis?
  • List every External Call without error handling across my landscape.
  • Summarise the security findings for my five lowest-rated applications.
  • Export all rule findings for application “Webshop” as a table.
