Settings › Application tags: grouping applications
Create coloured tags such as teams or business criticality and assign them to applications.
Application tags let you organise applications by whatever matters to your organisation – the team that maintains them, business criticality, a programme, and so on. Tags are created and assigned by administrators and can be used to filter applications, for example when assigning permissions in bulk.
The tag list
Settings › Application tags shows each Tag (as a coloured chip), its Description and the number of Applications carrying it. Use Search tags… to find one.
Adding a tag
- Click Add tag.
- Enter the Tag name and an optional Description.
- Pick a Colour; the preview chip shows the result.
- Under Applications with this tag, tick the applications the tag applies to.
- Click Add tag.
Editing or removing a tag
- Edit opens the same dialog with the current values; change what you need and click Save changes.
- Remove deletes the tag from the organisation and from all applications that carry it.
Tags can also be toggled per application under Settings › Applications.
